Our Team provides managed services and proactive and reactive support to our global customers. We utilize tools, process and knowledge to integrate and maintain Akamai security solutions for our clients. We collaborate to solve problems, innovate to provide creative solutions and continuously improve for our customers

Partner with the best

You'll be the primary security contact, ensuring successful integration and consultancy over the whole customer life cycle. Acting as a trusted expert, you'll implement solutions, helping customers leverage our products and achieve desired outcomes.

As a Security Consultant, You Will Be Responsible For

• Ensuring customer success by understanding requirements and helping them build a long-term strategy based on best practices
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to evaluate customer architecture, address technical challenges and maximize benefits from using Akamai solutions
• Demonstrating Akamai's value, ensuring customer engagement and communicating effectively with both technical and business audiences
• Participating in training and projects contributing to best practices, maximizing efficiency, and improving methodology and service quality
  
  

Do What You Love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a working knowledge of security technology process and concepts, security event management, security compliance
• Have knowledge of computer networks concepts and protocols (HTTP, TLS, TCP/IP, DNS, BGP etc.)
• Demonstrate some level of understanding of DevOps / SecOps disciplines as well as implementation concepts that deal with web development, IT systems or security practice
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and an ability to build trust relationships with customers
• Have experience in a customer-facing role within the Information Technology industry
• Have knowledge of project management concepts and techniques
• Demonstrate the ability to speak in German would be an asset
