Responsibilities

• Install, program, dismantle, and reconstruct Integrated Security fire and security systems onsite with commercial customers.
• Use hand and power tools safely and responsibly, avoiding injuries and damage to property.
• Contact customers prior to installations to verify schedules.
• Prepare estimates following prescribed instructions or supervisor directions.
• Follow schematic wiring diagrams and hook‑up procedures.
• Test system operation to the signal‑receiving center to establish service.
• Read building, electrical, and sprinkler blueprints as required.
• Coordinate installations with police/fire departments and manage notification records for emergency calls.
• Manage installation teams on larger projects (if applicable) and coach/mentor less experienced installers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of electrical and electronic equipment experience with demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools.
• Ability to operate a fleet vehicle safely at all times.
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide excellent customer service.

Compensation

Hourly rate: $26.06 – $35.82, determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and market data. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
