Action Facilities Management, INC (AFM) is seeking a Warehouse Specialist/Material Coordinator in Quantico, VA. The role involves receiving, sorting, and delivering packages and materials from various vendors, coordinating activities to support customer orders, and ensuring timely delivery of products.

You will oversee inventories, maintain records, and ensure systems for inventory control function properly.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Forklift Operator certification is required prior to employment.
Top Secret clearance must be obtained.
Valid driver’s license is required.
Data entry experience with Excel and inventory systems is expected.

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean and safe warehouse at all times, organized and properly stocked.
Receive packages on site, input data into inventory control system, and deliver to the correct person/department.
Receive mail and sort mail from USPS and deliver to correct department.
Verify materials against documents, note discrepancies and damages.
Store, palletize, and inventory materials per storage methods.
Pack and send items; maintain inventory accuracy.
Call carriers for pick-up (UPS, FedEx, etc.).
Ensure safety and maintain warehouse environment.
Travel off-site to collect or receive packages as needed.
Assist with loading/unloading delivery vehicles.
Communicate delivery status to customers.
