Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Software Test Engineer with 3+ years of experience to advance automated testing capabilities for production web applications. The role focuses on designing robust test automation, evaluating new frameworks, and expanding CI/CD-driven quality assurance across developers and testers.

You will work with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and C#/.NET on modern web apps, leveraging Selenium and Playwright within GitHub Actions/Jenkins environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience fielding production systems on web application development teams.
• 3+ years of programming experience: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and C#/.NET.
• 3+ years with Agile development tools: Git, Jira, Wikis.
• Experience with software engineering and QA of complex web applications.
• Experience with test frameworks, Selenium or Playwright, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with web-based UIs, REST APIs, and databases.
• Knowledge of complex web app functions, modules, integrations, or data.
• Ability to learn new languages and design technical solutions with testing and development teams.
• Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Understand system functionality and test cases to design, implement, and advance test automation capability.
• Analyze existing test automation software against industry advancements to design and recommend new solutions.
• Determine test cases and rapidly implement software to improve automated coverage as a software engineer in testing.
• Operationalize automation across a team of developers, testers, and automated testers.
