Job summary

EGlobalTech, a Tetra Tech Company, is seeking a Systems Engineer/Systems Administrator to support testing, integration, installation, administration, troubleshooting, and sustainment of C4ISR systems in lab, shipboard, and shore environments. The role requires hands-on support for Windows-based environments and active secret clearance.

The successful candidate will develop test scripts, troubleshoot system failures, and coordinate with engineering and operations to ensure successful deployment

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant professional experience supporting IT, systems engineering, or related environments.
• Experience administering and troubleshooting Windows-based systems.
• Experience installing, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining hardware and software.
• Experience diagnosing system failures and identifying corrective actions.
• Ability to develop and execute technical test procedures or scripts.
• Working knowledge of computer systems, networks, hardware, software, and integrated IT environments.
• Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to document issues, findings, resolutions, and recommendations clearly.
• Ability to work in laboratory, shipboard, and shore-based environments.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Recommend hardware and software configurations to support testing and evaluation.
• Perform system administration activities for operations analysis and Windows platforms.
• Develop, maintain, and execute test scripts for system testing and troubleshooting.
• Respond to trouble tickets and system failures.
• Analyze hardware, software, network, and system issues and support repairs.
• Identify root causes and propose short-term and long-term solutions.
• Evaluate configurations and recommend design improvements.
• Recommend security and reliability improvements.
• Support installation, integration, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with engineering, testing, operations to resolve issues and deploy systems.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation related to configurations and actions.
