Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to build and operate reliable, scalable cloud-native platforms across Oracle Health. You will work with platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, and healthcare applications to design resilient systems and improve service health.

The role emphasizes automation, observability, incident response, and secure, scalable systems on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, with collaboration across product, security, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Proven SRE or platform engineering experience in cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, networking, and system observability.
• Experience with CI/CD, IaC, and disaster recovery planning.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate reliable cloud infrastructure on OCI and legacy environments.
• Collaborate with software teams to create scalable, resilient services and APIs.
• Define SLIs/SLOs, monitor health, and run incident response and postmortems.
• Automate provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and remediation tasks.
• Support secure releases with canary or blue-green deployments and rollback plans.
