Job summary
Avalore is seeking a Software Developer/Engineer to perform hands-on software development and integration for the WDP System. You will translate designs into robust software, implement IaC and configuration-as-code, and write tests and documentation.
The role requires security clearances and entails collaboration across UI/UX and data teams. Multiple levels are available (Junior, Journeyman, Senior) with 0–3, 4–7, and 8+ years respectively and a Bachelor's Degree.
Qualifications
- US work authorization for full-time employment; visa sponsorship not available.
- Bachelor's Degree required; multiple levels based on experience.
- Proficient in English; strong communication.
- Experience with software development, IaC and code reviews.
- Familiar with API integration and security best practices.
Responsibilities
- Hands-on software development and integration for system components.
- Design, implement, and maintain source code, IaC, and configuration as code.
- Write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive unit tests and reviews.
- Troubleshoot defects; optimize for performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers and database specialists on data models.
- Document code, APIs, and designs; participate in Agile ceremonies.
