Job summary

Delta Solutions & Strategies seeks a Software Engineer to join our Corporate Headquarters in Colorado Springs, CO. The role focuses on developing and maintaining software for high-fidelity Missile Warning training, demanding detail-oriented problem solving.

Preferred candidates have DoD experience, HLA/RTI-s/FOM familiarity, and an active security clearance. You will integrate C# and C++ in JLVC environments and contribute to agile development and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with C# .NET (preferred), Java, or C++.
• Development in a DoD environment preferred.
• Active Secret Security Clearance and ability to obtain TS clearance.
• Experience with HLA, RTI-s and FOM preferred.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication; able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Integrate existing software into JLVC HLA environment using RTI-s and FOM with C++ and C#.
• Develop and integrate C# and C++ applications in a virtual environment.
• Perform agile software development with unit tests, peer reviews, CI, and design docs.
• Implement scalable software solutions using C++ and C#, ensuring maintainability and architecture adherence.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to discuss status, architecture, risks, and estimates.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including diagrams, data flows, and specs.
