Job summary

VTG in Chantilly, VA seeks a Software Expert I to provide advisory and analytical support on software requirements analysis, documentation, and oversight within a SETA environment. You will work with government staff and contractors to ensure design and development meet requirements and standards.

Applicants should have 1–4 years of experience with software-intensive systems, a Bachelor’s degree in CS/SE/related field, and a TS/SCI with poly is required.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Poly security clearance.
• 1 years of experience with softwareintensive systems.
• Bachelors Degree in CS, SE, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support analysis of software requirements, architectures, and design documentation.
• Review contractor software deliverables for compliance with requirements and standards.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation (requirements matrices, technical assessments, briefings).
• Participate in technical reviews, working groups, stakeholder meetings as observer/support.
• Track software risks, issues, and action items under senior guidance.
• Coordinate between government stakeholders and development contractors.
