Job summary

Koniag Government Services seeks a Senior Business Operations Manager to support the AI2 Office at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. Active TS/SCI clearance required; the role focuses on acquisition process improvement, SOP development, and policy interpretation for AI initiatives.

The successful candidate will coordinate cross-workstream tasks, analyze policies, draft executive correspondence, and guide acquisition strategies while maintaining strict confidentiality and high performance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline.
• Top Secret/SCI clearance (active).
• 10+ years of related experience.
• Experience supporting senior executives at the SES/OSD level.
• Strong organizational, project management and multi-tasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate tasks across workstreams to align with strategy and schedule.
• Analyze acquisition policies and procedures for AI initiatives.
• Provide guidance to optimize acquisition strategies and ensure compliance.
• Assist in analysis of alternatives and DoD guidance.
• Draft correspondence for Government Leadership review.
• Coordinate communications with stakeholders at all levels.
• Monitor staff actions and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Perform data-oriented Action Officer functions in support of the Acquisition Office.
• Develop and oversee plans to execute identified data tasks.
• Evaluate performance and recommend changes.
• Participate in Acquisition-related Working Groups and forums.
• Manage correspondence processes and track suspenses.
• Document as-is and to-be business processes and implement improvements.
• Ensure quality of government correspondence.
• Edit and proof documents; assist teammates as needed.
