Job summary

Bart & Associates, LLC is seeking an SAP Interfacing Consultant - Technical Senior Consultant to support a federal government client in a classified environment. The role focuses on designing, developing, and sustaining SAP interface solutions that securely exchange data between SAP ERP/S4HANA and external agencies.

Ideal candidates have deep SAP integration techs (IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, PI/PO, SAP Integration Suite) and strong ABAP development skills, with experience in cybersecurity and data

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of SAP technical development experience focusing on interface design and implementation using SAP PI/PO, SAP Integration Suite (BTP), IDocs, BAPIs, and web services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP interface solutions across inbound and outbound data flows between SAP ERP/S4HANA and external systems.
• Lead technical design and build of SAP interfaces using core integration technologies (IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, ALE/EDI, SOAP/REST).
• Develop interface specifications, mapping documents, and architecture designs with functional consultants and enterprise architects.
• Configure and maintain SAP middleware components (PI/PO or SAP Integration Suite).
• Perform end-to-end interface testing across SAP–external system boundaries.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve interface errors in production and non-production environments.
• Collaborate with federal agency IT teams and SAP consultants to define interface requirements.
