Job summary

cBEYONData + SMX seeks a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer in Washington, DC to advance an enterprise-grade BI suite for federal finance workflows. You will expand and maintain a Selenium-based regression framework in a secure, on-site environment, ensuring deployments do not introduce regressions in FRA-C and FDDW.

Qualifications

• Security Clearance: An active Top Secret (TS) clearance is required.
• Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in software quality assurance.
• Automation mastery: Demonstrated experience in designing and maintaining automated testing frameworks using Selenium.
• Cloud competency: Hands-on experience performing quality assurance in cloud-native environments, specifically within AWS.
• DevSecOps literacy: Proficient in Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, and GitLab pipelines.
• Communication skills: Strong written and verbal communication for metrics, risk assessments, and progress reports to technical teams and FBI management.
• Degree: A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the expansion and maintenance of the Selenium-based automated testing catalog to cover data ingestion and reporting functions.
• Serve as the bridge between development teams and FBI business users, supporting UAT with test scenarios and mentoring junior analysts.
• Maintain and update Quality Assurance Plans, ensuring evidence of performance testing, defect resolution, and security controls.
