Job summary

SMX is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to safeguard the integrity of the FBI's BI Suite in Washington, DC. The role sits on a DevSecOps team using AWS, WebFOCUS analytics, and Selenium automation, requiring an active Top Secret clearance and on-site presence.

You will lead automated regression, support UAT with stakeholders, and maintain QA plans, delivering secure, high-quality software for mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance required.
• Minimum of five years' experience in software quality assurance.
• Experience designing and maintaining automated testing frameworks using Selenium.
• Hands-on QA in cloud-native AWS environments.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, and GitLab pipelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for reporting metrics and risks.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead expansion and maintenance of Selenium-based automated testing catalog, covering data ingestion and reporting.
• Bridge between development teams and FBI business users; design UAT scenarios and mentor analysts on automated testing best practices.
• Maintain QA Plans with evidence of performance testing, defect resolution times, and adherence to security controls.
