Job summary

Vantor Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead a cross-functional, technically skilled team supporting a high-value national defense mission in Herndon, VA. Candidates must hold an active TS/SCI clearance with CI poly, and have years of DoD/IC project management experience.

You will oversee cost, schedule, risk, and performance, manage subcontractors, and drive growth opportunities while coordinating with customers, vendors, and academia to ensure mission success.

Qualifications

• US Citizen with active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain
• 6 years of relevant professional experience
• 2 years of project management experience in DoD/IC
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject or equivalent experience
• Must be able to work on-site in Herndon, VA.

Responsibilities

• Manage project operations to ensure production schedules are met and relationships with customers are maintained
• Oversee cost, schedule, performance and risk identification/mitigation including forecasts, invoices, EACs, and MSRs
• Supervise staff operations and support professional development
• Provide oversight of subcontractor management
• Gather new customer requirements for staff, vendor support, procurement, or travel
• Deliver strong project and financial performance aligning with customer expectations and forecasts
• Develop and realize new business opportunities within and outside the task order
