Job summary

RTX in McKinney, TX is seeking a Production Test Engineer (PTE) to ensure seamless test processes in a factory environment. You will support manufacturing test activities, analyze data, and troubleshoot RF, digital, and analog systems, driving continuous improvement and cycle-time reductions.

Onsite role with potential for collaboration across operations and quality teams. The role requires a STEM degree with at least 2 years of related experience and hands-on experience with RF measurements,

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior experience.
• Experience related to RF test methods, troubleshooting, RF microwave product testing or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Provide test engineering support of the manufacturing areas and coordinate with operations, quality, and production control.
• Observe, analyze, and report test data using engineering drawings and manuals.
• Perform tests and troubleshoot Digital, Analog and RF equipment.
• Disposition non-conforming material using root cause and corrective action.
• Support Continuous Improvement to reduce cycle time and costs using Six Sigma principles.
