Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA, is seeking a Packaging Engineer to own end-to-end packaging solutions within the Supply Chain team. You will work with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to protect high-value technology during transport and storage.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering, 5+ years packaging experience, travel up to 25%, and eligibility for a US Secret clearance. Onsite in Costa Mesa with relocation if needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• 5+ years packaging engineering experience in a high-rate supply chain or manufacturing environment
• Travel up to 25% of the time
• Relocate onsite in Costa Mesa, CA
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Design packaging to protect high-value and sensitive technology during transport, storage, and deployment
• Lead the design of internal packaging solutions for delivering parts to the production line
• Conduct material selection and supplier packaging evaluations to meet technical requirements
• Develop and review prototype requirements and lead sourcing activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for demand forecasting, procurement planning, and timely delivery of packaging and materials
• Lead risk assessments for packaging-related issues in transportation and storage
• Utilize ERP & WMS systems to track packaging inventory, generate reports, and provide data-driven insights
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and quality control protocols
