Ideal candidates have substantial IT experience, DoD security considerations, and strong documentation, support, and troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Associates or higher degree in Computer/Information Technology or equivalent.
• 7 years related experience or combination of experience in computer system basics.
• Broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures in computer science and information systems.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform System & Network Administration including classified remote access networks and lifecycle of user accounts.
• Design, install, configure, and maintain MS Windows server and client systems for security and reliability.
• Manage asset lifecycle for IT hardware/software including installation, UPS, and cabling.
• Maintain SOPs and technical documentation for team operations.
• Provide AV system support in classified and unclassified environments and handle helpdesk tickets.
• Monitor network requirements and LAN performance; troubleshoot networking hardware.
• Train staff in configuration and use of department resources.
• Apply network security best practices and take initiative on customer issues.
