Summary
Individual supports the U.S. Air Force and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract at Edwards Air Force Base, better known as J‑Tech II. Integrits Corporation develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation’s war‑fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today’s missions and tomorrow’s global challenges. A Systems Administrator II evaluates system specifications, configures systems, establishes standards, ensures hardware and software compatibility, and maintains workstations and MS Windows operating systems for stable performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform system administration functions such as user account maintenance, application and OS patches and updates, antivirus updates, security/event log review and analysis, network documentation, tape backup operations, hardware issue escalation, user training, and user support.
- Operate MS Windows server software daily, including system security, appropriate access, configuration, and backing up the system.
- Recommend future hardware and software implementations; plan and perform system upgrades and transitions across design, test, production, and documentation environments.
- Specify network requirements, monitor LAN performance, troubleshoot networking hardware, and ensure system performance meets specifications and parameters.
- Organize and secure directory structure and assist or train staff members in its use.
- Employ Document Management System, associated databases, and CM/DM release procedures.
- Use established policies and procedures and subject‑matter knowledge to complete complex assignments with originality and ingenuity under minimum supervision and with latitude for independent contribution.
- Serve as point of contact for problem reporting, incremental version updates, and monitoring of yearly support contracts.
- Apply knowledge of auditing, RMF, STIGs, SCAP, and ACAS.
- Apply advanced networking and security knowledge to assist in the buildup of the network(s).
- Maintain knowledge of network security procedures, best practices, and implementation.
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in representing and/or resolving matters of significance on behalf of the customer.
- Report to an exempt onsite manager responsible for the IT support team operations.
- Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds and constant sitting and use of a computer terminal; constant use of vision, hearing, speech, and mental alertness are required.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s or higher degree in Computer/Information Technology, or equivalent academic or technical training.
- Seven years of related experience or an equivalent combination of experience in computer system basics and related areas of expertise.
- Broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures in computer science, graphics, and information systems.
- Ability to routinely cross fields in the completion of somewhat difficult and varied assignments.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and within structured guidelines.
- Verbal and written communication skills sufficient to interact with other employees and accept direction from senior systems administrators or supervisors.
- Limited to no supervision required.
- Sound working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office applications, e.g., Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Ability to obtain CompTIA Security+ certification within six months.
- Must successfully pass a required drug test.
- SECRET Security Clearance (required).

- Top Secret Security Clearance.
