Onyx Point, LLC. in Hanover, MD is seeking a senior software engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance to lead design and development of tools and end-to-end data flow.

The role requires 6+ years of programming in C/C++, Java, Python or similar, 5+ years in Windows/.NET or UNIX builds, 4+ years with CNO tools (2 for the US Government), and 2+ years in sockets programming with IP/TCP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Lead software design and development of tools and data flow.
• Author documentation and lead design, code, and software readiness reviews.
• Provide/author and participate in technical presentations.
• 6+ years of experience programming in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or Python.
• 5+ years developing in Windows/.NET or UNIX build environments.
• 4+ years with CNO tools and techniques, 2 for the US Government.
• 2+ years in network sockets programming with IP/TCP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead software design and development of tools and/or end-to-end data flow.
• Provide/author documentation, lead and participate in design, code, and software readiness reviews as prescribed by software development procedures and processes.
• Provide/author and participate in technical presentations.
• Minimum 6 years of experience programming in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or Python.
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing in Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments and/or UNIX applications using make files or comparable build environments.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with programming CNO tools and techniques, 2 of which were for the US Government.
• Minimum 2 years in network sockets programming including developing packet-level programs using expert understanding of IP, TCP, and application-level protocols.
