Job summary

CACI International Inc is seeking a Network Engineer II to design, implement, and support complex LAN/WAN environments. The role requires TS/SCI clearance, a related Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and at least three years of network engineering in DoD contexts.

You will interact with vendors, maintain detailed documentation, ensure QA and performance KPIs, and support deployable networks across CONUS/OCONUS locations. Travel is up to 10% locally and on-site collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years of Network Engineer experience
• DoD 8140.01 and 8570.01-M, IAT II required
• Analyzes designs, develops, and maintains network-related hardware and software
• Experience with common network components (routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, DNS) and routing protocols (OSPF/EIGRP/BGP)
• Excellent written and verbal communication across teams and management

Responsibilities

• Maintains third-tier knowledge of network/security hardware and software
• Interfaces with vendors and external stakeholders for service/maintenance arrangements
• Reviews and updates technical documentation
• Provides 24x7 on-site and 12x5 service support with two-hour on-call responses
• Manages outside plant cabling maintenance at standard service levels
• Installs and configures WAN/LAN hardware including voice/video/data systems
• Develops system specs, architecture designs, test plans, and documentation
• Develops risk management and QA/compliance processes
• Works solo and in teams on deployable networks for multiple mission partners (CONUS/OCONUS)
• Mentors junior technicians and provides guidance to peers
• Travel to CONUS/OCONUS sites for deployments and maintenance
• Develops, configures, and maintains deployable communications suites
