(EDO) Entertainment Data Oracle, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Network Engineer to support WAN/LAN/CAN networks across security domains. Travel about 25% is expected, with emphasis on maintenance, deployment, and optimization of enterprise network systems.

The role requires DoD architecture familiarity, Juniper equipment experience, and strong network security practices. Applicants should have IAT II certification and a track record in large-scale, mixed environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years related technical experience in Network and Transport technologies
• 4+ years’ experience with large-scale enterprise/global networks
• Understanding and experience with the DoD Architecture Framework
• Experience with Juniper, switches, routers and firewalls (MX, EX, SRX devices) and cryptographic devices (KG-175G/X, KG-245A/X)
• Experience with network analysis tools (HP/Microfocus Network Automation and Network Node Manager, Juniper Secure Analytics, Infoblox, Riverbed)
• Experience with Juniper firewall/VPN equipment (SRX series)
• Experience supporting IP services to connect to NIPRNET, SIPRNET and JWICS
• Experience with OSPF, BGP, MPLS, RSVP/LDP, L2/3VPNs, VRFs, IKE/IPSec, GRE tunnels, MTU
• Certifications: IAT II

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance, monitoring and installation of WAN/LAN environments
• Research and implement enterprise network solutions for customer goals
• Troubleshoot and resolve network media/components
• Monitor health and performance of network hardware and software
• Develop and maintain network architecture diagrams
• Develop test plans and documentation for network upgrades
• Support traffic analysis and bandwidth optimization
• Evaluate new network technologies for capacity and reliability
• Follow government security processes and procedures
• Represent customer requirements in technical exchanges
• Perform site surveys for installations and refreshes
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot satellite communications equipment
