Job summary

RBR-Technologies seeks a software engineer at Fort Meade to support the development of classification marking tools and contribute across the full software lifecycle in an Agile setting. You will develop, test, document, and maintain complex software systems per documented requirements.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance and experience with JIRA and GitLab, plus strong troubleshooting and customer communication skills. Collaboration across teams and occasional remote work per contract may apply.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI Polygraph clearance
• Experience with JIRA and GitLab
• Ability to troubleshoot and communicate with customers
• Level 1: Three years of related experience with a Bachelor's Degree or higher in computer engineering or related field; an additional 4 years may substitute for the degree for a total of 7 years
• Level 2: Five years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree or higher in computer engineering or related field AND 2 years of work experience in the SIGINT, IA, or IT domains. An additional 4 years may substitute for the degree for a total of 9 years

Responsibilities

• Support development of classification marking tools.
• Implement code across full software lifecycle including testing and documentation.
• Work collaboratively in an Agile development environment.
• Developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex software systems based on documented requirements.
• Providing input to software components of system design including trade-offs and reuse.
• Reviewing and testing software components for design adherence and documenting results.
• Resolving software problem reports.
• Utilizing software development methodologies appropriate to the environment.
• Working individually or as part of a team.
