Job summary

Onyx Point, LLC. seeks a skilled software engineer with active TS/SCI clearance to design, code, and optimize high-performance systems. Candidates should understand VMware vSphere/vCenter, AWS EC2, and Kubernetes tuning, with DevOps capabilities in Go, Ansible, and Terraform. Hands-on experience with Talos-based Kubernetes is a plus.

The role emphasizes creating robust data interfaces, analyzing system performance, and developing thorough documentation and tests in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph required.
• Experience with VMware vSphere/vCenter and APIs.
• Experience with AWS EC2 and EC2 APIs.
• Kubernetes performance tuning and troubleshooting expertise.
• DevOps proficiency in Go, Ansible and Terraform (IaC).
• Hands-on with Sidero Labs Talos-based Kubernetes platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and modify software to add features and high-performance algorithms.
• Create data interfaces and execute queries for repositories to ensure accessibility and functionality.
• Analyze work processes and system performance to propose improvements.
• Write and review technical docs and support comprehensive software tests.
