Job summary

Akima Mission Optimization (AMO) in Orlando, FL is seeking experienced Web Developers to design, build, and maintain responsive web applications and services supporting NAWCTSD. You will work full stack with frontend and backend development and apply DevOps practices to ensure quality and reliability.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of web development experience with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, and RESTful APIs. A US Secret clearance or ability to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

• US citizen with Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/CE/SE focused on Web design and development.
• Minimum 3 years of web development experience with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, and CSS.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Strong SQL knowledge and data integration.
• Familiarity with Git-based version control and code collaboration.
• Experience writing clean, well-documented, testable code.
• Basic Linux command-line knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and maintains websites, web applications, and application databases.
• Ensures code quality and browser compatibility across devices.
• Optimizes performance and server-side processes.
• Integrates websites with other applications and builds infrastructure.
• Designs user-friendly interfaces and navigation for various browsers.
• Utilizes web frameworks and client-side coding to improve UX.
