Job summary

CGS Federal in Dallas seeks a Financial Investigator to join our team providing legal support and investigative services to a large federal agency. You will plan and conduct investigations, analyze complex data, and prepare evidence and reports to support prosecutorial objectives.

The role requires strong investigation experience, knowledge of federal procedures, and the ability to work with paralegals and attorneys on cases and motions. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years experience in planning and conducting civil or criminal complex investigations concerning misuse of public, private, or insurance funds.
• Working knowledge of current investigative techniques including the use of commercial databases and other sources of information.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain adjudication for the requisite background investigation.
• Experience in law enforcement.
• Experience in analyzing, organizing, and presenting a large volume of data using common software programs.
• Experience in reviewing and understanding financial records.
• Experience in interviewing potential witnesses.
• Previous experience with the United States Army, Department of Homeland Security, or other large federal agency.
