Responsibilities

LMI is seeking a skilled Enterprise IT Architect to support the design and integration of enterprise IT and communications infrastructure across a network of new and existing secure facilities. The Enterprise IT Architect will define the target-state architecture, ensure interoperability across sites, and work with engineering leads and government stakeholders to translate mission requirements into scalable technical solutions. This is an execution-oriented role supporting a fast-paced, milestone-driven prototype effort with near-term deliverable commitments.

Primary Duties Include
  • Lead enumeration and documentation of the technical baseline across multiple geographically dispersed sites, including classified and unclassified network enclaves, transport, security boundaries, and cross-domain transfer capabilities.
  • Design and develop target-state network and systems architectures for new secure facilities and an existing operational site, ensuring interoperability and compliance with federal security requirements.
  • Develop security authorization roadmaps in accordance with the Risk Management Framework (NIST SP 800-37 / 800-53) in partnership with ISSO and security engineering leads.
  • Define architecture for enterprise services, including end-user computing, classified and unclassified VTC/AV integration, and 24x7 network and security operations center (NOC/SOC) monitoring.
  • Produce design documentation, technical sections of milestone deliverables, and cost and feasibility inputs supporting a priced follow-on proposal.
  • Clearly articulate design decisions, alternatives considered, and associated tradeoffs - cost, schedule, security, and operational impact - to government sponsors and non-technical stakeholders, and support sponsor decision briefings and technical reviews.
