Job summary

Applied Research Solutions seeks a full-time Enterprise Architect at Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX to align IT strategy with mission goals and drive architecture across the organization.

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen with active TS/SCI clearance, hold a Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE (or related field), and bring 5+ years of technical engineering experience with strong collaboration skills to work with customers and teams.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with active TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a technical engineering role.
• Ability to collaborate with other organizations/teams and work with customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop reference models of the enterprise and maintain IT repository.
• Determine gaps between current and target architecture and plan transitions.
• Recommend policies to guide technology decisions for the enterprise.
• Identify opportunities to improve enterprise-level systems with emerging technologies.
• Promote and educate stakeholders on the value of the enterprise architecture.
• Provide enterprise architecture guidance to customers and IT project teams.
• Document enterprise architecture infrastructure using modeling techniques.
• Ensure technical integration across the enterprise via testing and reviews.
• Evaluate impact of enterprise architecture on IT investments and operations.
• Coordinate governance and portfolio management for compliance and cybersecurity.
• Other duties as assigned.
