Job summary

Apogee Engineering, LLC is seeking an Onsite Recruitment and Placement Specialist to support the USAF and FMS programs at Wright Patterson AFB. The role will require building a pipeline of qualified candidates, managing the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, and ensuring compliance with security requirements.

The position is onsite initially, with a transition to hybrid after onboarding. Candidates must be US citizens with a Secret clearance and a BA/BS in business or a related field, plus 5

Qualifications

• Citizenship: US citizen required.
• Clearance: Secret level clearance at time of application.
• BA/BS in Business or related field; 4 additional years of experience may supplement.
• Minimum 5 years in agency, corporate or government recruitment or selection.
• Experience supporting the DoD.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain a proactive sourcing strategy for program vacancies.
• Promotes diverse sourcing channels and referrals.
• Maintain active communication with passive candidates to minimize time-to-fill.
• Coordinate and facilitate interview stages with government or contractor hiring managers.
• Manage candidate communications, interview prep, feedback, and realistic job previews.
• Verify candidate eligibility, including education credentials and certifications.
• Ensure all recruits meet baseline security requirements prior to onboarding.
• Track recruitment metrics and deliver weekly/monthly reports to leadership.
