Job summary

Erias Ventures, LLC is seeking an Enterprise DevOps Engineer in Annapolis Junction, MD to provide Tier I/II support for a 24/7/365 watchfloor environment. The role requires Linux administration, Python scripting, and containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, plus cloud deployments and DoD 8570‑compliant security credentials.

Candidates must have a Bachelor's in CS or four years of equivalent experience, plus willingness for 12-hour rotating shifts and security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science is required; four years’ experience may substitute the degree.
• Two years’ experience with software and system deployments, Linux system admin, containerization, cloud deployments, DevSecOps; MS can substitute for the degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier I/II support for watchfloor in a 24×7/365 environment.
• Act as SPOC between service provider and operational users; log, categorize and prioritize incidents.
• Perform initial diagnosis using knowledge bases and incident models; attempt first-contact resolution.
• Escalate unresolved issues to Tier II per procedures; keep users updated during resolution.
• Document troubleshooting steps and resolution actions to expand the knowledge base.
