Job summary

OSC Edge seeks a DevOps Automation Engineer in Augusta, GA to design, implement, and manage automation solutions that heighten infrastructure reliability, CI/CD efficiency, and scalable deployments. You will work with Terraform, Ansible, IaC, and collaborate across teams to secure and streamline releases.

As a hands-on contributor, you’ll tackle automation across cloud and on‑prem, monitor security, and drive improvements while partnering with security and development groups to maximize

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or equivalent experience.
• Must have Public Trust, Secret clearance and be eligible for Top-Secret/SCI.
• Valid Security+ Certification.
• At least 1 year of hands-on virtualization experience.
• Extensive automation experience with Terraform and Ansible.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements automation solutions using Terraform and Ansible.
• Manages infrastructure as code for consistent deployments.
• Implements and maintains CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deployment.
• Integrates automated testing and deployment processes for quality releases.
• Collaborates with development, operations, and security teams to deliver applications.
• Manages cloud and on-premises infrastructure via virtualization platforms.
• Monitors performance, availability, and security of automated systems.
• Optimizes automation to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Troubleshoots automation processes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Provides guidance on automation tools and practices and conducts training.
