Job summary

Guest Services, Inc. in Hertford, NC is hiring a full-time Cook to assist the Production Chef by preparing hot and cold items for guests and base personnel, following menus and portions precisely.

Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, 18 or older, with a high school diploma or GED or at least five years of relevant work experience, and able to obtain the required U.S. Government security clearance. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K, PTO and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED or 5+ years relevant work experience.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain government security clearance.
• 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Communicates effectively with co-workers.
• Prepares menu items in specified quantities and quality.
• Follows safety practices and uses PPE as assigned.
• Keeps products at proper temperatures.
• Rotates stock and informs supervisor when items are needed.
• Coordinates meal prep with Production Chef for following day.
• Maintains a sanitized, orderly kitchen environment.
• Sets up stations with ingredients and equipment.
• Cross-trains as back-up Cashier and Bar Attendant.
• Assists with other duties as assigned.
