Job summary

Grunley Construction is seeking a Cement Mason/Concrete Finisher to prepare, pour, and finish concrete surfaces on commercial, institutional, and government projects in the DMV. This role requires skilled use of hand and power tools and a commitment to safety and quality. You will read blueprints, set forms, mix concrete, pour, finish, seal, and inspect work, while coordinating with site teams. TS/SCI clearance eligibility and US citizenship are required, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

Knowledge of concrete mixes, materials, and applications.
Proficiency with hand and power tools (trowels, floats, edgers, mixers).
Attention to detail.
Effective communication skills.
Must be eligible for TS/SCI clearance.
Must be a US Citizen.

Responsibilities

Preparing the work site with safety equipment and setting up scaffolding.
Laying out the work using blueprints and drawings to position forms and materials.
Pouring and finishing concrete with hand and power tools.
Applying sealants, toppings, colors, or epoxy overlays as required.
Inspecting and cleaning the work to ensure correct installation.
Monitoring weather effects on curing and project progress.
Saw cutting control joints where needed.
Writing reports and keeping job records.
