Grunley Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a Cement Mason, also known as a Concrete Finisher, to prepare, pour, and finish concrete surfaces on high-profile projects in the DMV.

This role supports safety standards and quality on site, working from blueprints and using hand and power tools to achieve precise finishes. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of concrete mixes, experience with trowels and floats, and a commitment to teamwork.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of various concrete mixes, materials, and applications.
• Proficient with hand and power tools such as trowels, floats, edgers, and mixers.
• Attention to detail and effective communication on site.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work site with safety equipment (scaffolding, tripods).
• Layout work using blueprints to calculate materials and positions.
• Pour and finish concrete surfaces with hand/power tools.
• Apply sealants, toppings, and overlays as required.
• Inspect and clean work to ensure proper installation.
• Monitor operations and weather impact on curing.
