Job summary

Avalore is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to design and maintain scalable, resilient systems that support high-volume data alerting in a fast-paced environment.

You will use Kubernetes to orchestrate containerized workloads on AWS (EKS, EC2, S3), implement Terraform for infrastructure as code, and design robust routing and DNS to ensure high availability across distributed systems. Collaboration with development teams will drive CI/CD improvements and security.

Qualifications

• Active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph
• Experience with: Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, Kafka, DevOps, EKS, AWS, EC2, S3, Terraform, Routing, DNS, Grafana, Logging, Alerting

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain scalable, resilient systems to support high-volume data alerting.
• Leverage Kubernetes to orchestrate containerized workloads and ensure seamless deployment and management of applications.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS (EKS, EC2, S3) and implement infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Design robust routing and DNS solutions to guarantee high availability across distributed systems.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and improve operational efficiency.
• Triage and troubleshoot complex issues; implement security and automation best practices.
