Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in Arlington, VA is seeking an experienced ProServe Cloud Architect to design and deliver tailored cloud solutions that meet customer business outcomes. You’ll lead solution design and coordinate with SDT and Account Executives.

You’ll mentor colleagues, share reusable artifacts, and stay current with industry trends, security and compliance. US Citizenship with TS/SCI clearance is required to support federal customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience
• Strong hands-on development experience with Python, Java and data technologies (SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis)
• 3+ years of AWS service suite, IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation), security tools and compliance automation experience
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance TS/SCI with Polygraph

Responsibilities

• Design complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions to deliver customer business outcomes (CBOs)
• Provide technical guidance and best practices during pre-sales and implementation
• Collaborate with Account Managers and SDT to ensure solutions are realistic and achievable
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
• Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and artifacts
