Job summary

Jamerson-Lewis Construction, Inc. is seeking a Carpenter to work on-site at a secure industrial facility in Lynchburg, VA. You will construct, fabricate, install, and repair structures, while maintaining safety and following project specs.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma and 1–4 years of carpentry experience on commercial/industrial projects, plus a valid driver’s license. U.S. citizenship with no dual citizenship is required to obtain a DOE clearance.

• 1–4 years of experience working as a carpenter on commercial or industrial projects.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Must be a US Citizen with no dual citizenship and must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE clearance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform rough and finish carpentry tasks to construct, install, or repair structures and related components.
• Read and understand specifications in building plans.
• Select and use appropriate hand and power tools and materials to complete jobs.
• Follow Jamerson-Lewis safety procedures and policies.
