Job summary

CACI International Inc is seeking a Cable Technician to support enterprise LAN and UC services. The role involves building access and distribution cabling, documenting changes, and testing copper and fiber networks across CONUS/OCONUS sites.

You will work with hand tools, install and terminate copper/fiber, and maintain detailed cable records while collaborating with a team. A TS/SCI with poly or ability to obtain poly is required.

Qualifications

• High School/GED + 7 years of experience.
• Current IAT II (Security+)
• Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance OR TS/SCI with ability to obtain Poly prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Build and install access and distribution cabling for tech insertions.
• Document Inside Plant cabling infrastructure, including copper, coax, fiber, racks, and cables.
• Terminate copper on patch panels, modular plugs, and jacks; terminate fiber as needed.
• Test cabling and networks with standard testers; locate and repair issues.
• Maintain cable records, read diagrams, and create as-is diagrams for customers.
• Lift up to 50 pounds, work with ladders and power tools, and coordinate with teams.
