Job summary

Centurum seeks a Drafter and CAD Operator in Charleston, SC to create and modify shipboard and shore-based installation drawings using AutoCAD. You will develop equipment layouts, elevations, mounting details, cable block diagrams, and case assemblies from existing drawings and DoD specs.

The role requires DoD familiarity, three years drafting experience in electronics, an active Secret clearance, and in-person work.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of drafting experience in electronics.
• Familiarity with DoD processes and procedures.
• High School diploma or GED; AutoCAD certification; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Active Secret Security Clearance required.
• In-person work location.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify shipboard and shore-based installation drawings.
• Develop equipment arrangements, elevations, mounting details, case assemblies, and cable block diagrams.
• Produce new AutoCAD files from drawings, manuals, and DoD specs.
• Link Excel tables to AutoCAD as needed.
• Adhere to military standards and collaborate within a drafting team.
