Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen with a valid U.S. passport and hold or maintain a TOP SECRET clearance.
• Minimum High School Diploma; 5–7 years of relevant experience in background investigations preferred.
• Knowledge of Personnel Security requirements, federal regulations, and SCI/ access program guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage security files in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Process requests for file digitization, delivery, and retention.
• Coordinate with embassies, consulates and third parties regarding biometric transmissions and fingerprinting.
• Obtain and process biometric data per federal and agency policies.
• Conduct National Agency Checks to support background investigations.
• Interpret criminal history records from FBI and Local Agencies.
• Support DCSA Continuous Vetting and related reinvestigation requirements.
• Prepare and summarize investigative reports with clear, objective conclusions.
