Job summary

The Maryland Department of General Services (DGS) seeks a seasoned supervisor to lead the Maryland Capital Police Security Card Processing Centers in Annapolis. You will supervise staff, oversee daily operations, and ensure building access control and ID record integrity.

You will coordinate parking, respond to inquiries, develop procedures, and partner with legislators and contractors to improve center operations. Strong communication and financial recordkeeping are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of administrative staff or professional work experience.
• Experience in supervisory roles is preferred.
• Knowledge of access control systems and ID processing is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Administrative Specialist II employees, including scheduling and evaluations.
• Manage day-to-day operations of Security Card Processing Centers.
• Oversee parking allocations and issue permits/placards.
• Maintain access control systems and ID coordinator records.
• Coordinate with legislators, contractors, and agency ID coordinators.
• Maintain financial records and develop procedures to ensure compliance.
