Job summary

Marksman Security LLC is hiring for a 2nd Shift — Unarmed Security Captain in Missouri. The role supports 1:00pm–9:00pm shifts on weekends and 1:00pm–9:00pm midweek, with Thursday and Friday off, totaling 40 hours weekly. Responsible for coordinating security operations, training, and compliance across site activities.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of security and customer service experience, strong communication, and the ability to lead officers while ensuring safety and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize tasks.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience.
• Minimum of one year of security experience.
• Pass pre-employment screening (background and drug).
• Physical requirements include standing, walking, and agility.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures.
• Observe and report all suspicious activity.
• Follow emergency plans and procedures for emergencies.
• Maintain compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.
• Complete incident reports as required.
• Attend meetings as requested by Security Management.
• Conduct interviews and hiring.
• Create training schedules for new hires.
• Ensure contracted hours of coverage are met.
• Provide instruction and guidance for all officers.
• Coordinate officer payroll and logistics.
• Oversee security operations and VIP tour coordination.
• Liaise with local law enforcement and community events.
