Job summary

ITG Larson in White Plains, NY is seeking a Security CAD Designer to design and document cutting-edge physical security systems, including access control and CCTV. You will translate client needs into detailed CAD drawings and technical docs, collaborating with sales, operations, and field teams.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of access control or CCTV design experience, strong CAD skills (AutoCAD, Revit), and a solid grasp of low-voltage wiring and network concepts.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience designing access control or CCTV systems.
• Solid understanding of low-voltage wiring, device hardware, and network connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Develop CAD drawings: security device layouts, wiring diagrams, rack elevations, conduit paths.
• Create system flow diagrams, submittals, product specifications, and bills of materials.
• Support project teams with technical details, design reviews, and change requests.
• Ensure designs meet codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Stay up to date on new technologies, products, and integration possibilities.
• Provide field support during installation/commissioning as needed.
