Position Summary

The main duties and role of an SBS is the monitoring and supervision of an acute psychiatric patient. A SBS is responsible for the behavioral assessment documentation and is responsible for interacting with the patient in a one‑on‑one setting.

Position Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• No additional qualifications required; CPI and CPR training will be provided.
• Will obtain CPI training within the first 6 months of employment, and CPR within the first 90 days of start.
• Preferred Experience: Mental Health, Military, Police, and/or Human Service field.
