St.-Bernards-Healthcare is seeking a Behavioral Health Security Officer to maintain a safe, secure, and therapeutic environment within behavioral health units and crisis stabilization settings. This role blends traditional security duties with behavioral health support, including crisis intervention, de-escalation, and collaboration with clinical staff to ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with preferred degrees in Criminology,
Minimum Age Requirement: 18 years of age or older
High school diploma or equivalent
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Criminology, Psychology, Sociology, or related field

Normal hospital environment. Close eye work. Hearing of normal and soft tones. Ability to lift up to 150 lbs and assist in patient handling, Carrying up to 50 lbs, Pushing/Pulling up to 350 lbs. Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching. Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations. Exposure to healthcare environments, including biological hazards.
