Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related IT field plus 4 years Division experience
• Valid driver's license from state of residence
• External candidates: at least six years of equivalent experience and proficiency requirements

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain security scripts, utilities, and applications.
• Administer Linux-based security systems, servers, and apps.
• Support Windows Server and desktop environments in the enterprise.
• Assist with identity management, authentication, and access control solutions.
• Monitor security events and alerts from security monitoring platforms.
• Assist in vulnerability assessments and remediation efforts.
• Develop automation using shell scripting, Python, PowerShell, or similar languages.
• Support endpoint security, EDR, and system hardening initiatives.
• Analyze logs and traffic to identify threats.
• Participate in cybersecurity incident response and recovery activities.
• Document configurations and procedures.
• Remain current on cybersecurity threats and technologies.
