Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems is seeking an Information Assurance Engineer to strengthen security across a growing enterprise application and cloud footprint, including SAP. You will automate repetitive tasks, build data-analysis scripts, and surface risk while collaborating with IT and business teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field.
• Hands-on experience in information assurance, cybersecurity, or data security.
• Experience using scripting or automation to improve security or IT work, with concrete examples.
• Working knowledge of identity and access management tools and logging/alerting systems.
• Ability to assess configurations and vulnerabilities and explain risk clearly.
• Knowledge of segregation of duties and sensitive transaction analysis.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify repetitive security, access, and compliance tasks and automate them with scripting.
• Build scripts to analyze security and access data and surface risk.
• Assess systems, configurations, and integrations for vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
• Implement technologies and automation that improve security against current threats and attack vectors.
• Support security controls, compliance audits, and remediation, including SOX control objectives.
• Work with IAM tools and logging/alerting systems.
• Partner with application, infrastructure, and business teams to deliver secure solutions.
• Document processes and align work to security policy and control objectives.
• Mentor others and deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision.
