Job summary

Marlabs is seeking a Security Intake Automation Engineer to modernize security intake, design integrations, automate workflows, and support AI-assisted solutions that streamline how security requests are captured, enriched, routed, and tracked.

You will work with security, engineering, and business stakeholders to define requirements, build reliable automation across Azure or AWS, and ensure data quality with monitoring and governance controls.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building enterprise integrations, workflow automation, or data engineering.
• Proficiency in Python or a similar scripting language.
• Experience with REST APIs, authentication methods, data exchange, error handling.
• Strong SQL/data transformation and data quality monitoring.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, ServiceNow; CI/CD practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and Power Automate/Logic Apps.
• Cybersecurity domain experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between enterprise systems and work-tracking platforms for automated security intake.
• Build workflow automation for routing, enrichment, notifications, status updates, and reporting.
• Develop AI-assisted workflows, including prompt design and governance for human review.
• Analyze and cleanse data across systems; implement data quality monitoring.
• Troubleshoot integrations and automation with monitoring, error handling, and proactive support.
• Collaborate with security, engineering, and business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver scalable automation.
