AMERICAN SECURITY GROUP is seeking an experienced Security Supervisor/Asst Manager for its Richmond, VA team. The role focuses on scheduling, training, reporting, and supervising staff, with a requirement of 5+ years in security and a clean VA DMV record. The candidate may fill in for special assignments and handle patrol duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required, BS/BA preferred
• 10+ years experience in security/ LE preferred - must have experience managing staff/ supervisory exp
• Experience with people - customer service
• Effective written and verbal communication - must speak fluent English
• US Citizen
• Must have very clean VA DMV Driving Record and a valid VA Drivers License
• May be required to take a Medical Physical and a Physical Fitness Test
• Required to take an on-site written exam and oral interview
• Must pass an online job fit assessment test
• May be required to take a pre-employment drug screen
• Current Armed DCJS Registration- preferred

AMERICAN SECURITY GROUP is one of the regions fastest growing American/ Virginia owned & based contract security companies!! And we are looking for an experienced Security Supervisor/Asst Manager to join our Richmond, VA team.

Security Supervisor(s)/Asst. Manager -

Uniform ranked position will be responsible for scheduling, training, reports, take after calls as needed, administrative duties and general supervision of staff. Must have a minimum of 5 years related security experience. You may be required to fill-in or work special assignments when necessary and/or call-outs. Some patrol duties will be required. Valid-Clean VA DMV required. VA Armed DCJS Registration is required. Some weekends and some holidays may be required for this position. You will have access to a company vehicle during your shift.

This position requires discipline and job related experience. We prefer someone with prior Military, Law Enforcement or related Security experience. This person will assist with oversight and manageall areas of uniform operations.
