Job summary

Admiral Security Services seeks a dependable Security Officer to perform access control, patrols, incident reporting and policy enforcement across assigned sites. Excellent customer service and communication are essential for success.

Candidates should have at least one year of verifiable work experience, a valid driver's license, and be able to operate security systems; willingness to work varied shifts and locations is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess exceptional customer service skills.
• Must be able to multitask.
• Must be comfortable with Microsoft office products.
• Must be able to operate and maintain site specific security programs.
• Must have at least one year of verifiable work experience; military, concierge or AA/BA in a related field may be considered.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation; officers may operate patrol vehicles.
• Prior security, supervisory, military, law enforcement, or related experience preferred.
• Minimum of one year of security experience preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification and applicable weapons certifications are preferred.
• Professional appearance, demeanor, and grooming consistent with Admiral Security Services standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, officers, and management.
• Ability to learn and operate TekWave/TekControl/Track Tik and other tour, reporting, and security systems.
• Willingness to work a variety of shifts and locations.
• Must be available to work between Martinsburg, WV and Harrisonburg, VA

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will perform various security duties as outlined by contract requirements and site specific post orders.These duties may include:

• Access control for guests, tenants and vendors.
• Enforcement ofClient and Company policies and procedures.
• Observation and reporting of security and safety hazards.
• Conduct of routine foot patrols in and around building.

This position may require work inside and outside in varying temperatures. This position requires standing for prolonged periods of time, walking, bending and some lifting. A portion of this position may require sitting in front of a computer for prolonged periods of time.
