Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and manage daily operations of a shift in Security.
• Coordinate scheduling with the manager and monitor guest satisfaction.
• Assist in budgeting and report budget concerns to management.
• Promote excellent customer service in line with company standards.
• Serve as Security Manager on duty when the Security Shift Manager is absent.
• Enforce internal controls and regulatory compliance including underage gambling and alcohol laws.
• Maintain safety and inspection reports for the property.
• Conduct regular security post inspections and maintain logs.
• Respond to guest and employee concerns professionally and promptly.
• Ensure officers meet uniform and grooming standards.
• Coordinate with regulatory, fire/rescue, and law enforcement agencies.
• Report potential issues to management and keep matters confidential.
• Provide a high level of service to create a fun and entertaining guest experience.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for supervising staff and the overall daily management of a designated shift in the Security department. Supports, administers and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives.

• Adheres to scheduling and coordinates with manager any scheduling concerns, with attention to guest satisfaction.

• May be responsible for assisting in the budget process for the department by providing recommendations; supports compliance to departmental budget initiatives; reporting budget concerns to manager.

• Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise.

• Serves as the Security Manager on duty in the absence of the Security Shift Manager.

• Enforce internal control policies and procedures including but not limited too; underage gambling and drinking laws.

• Maintain safety and inspections reports for the property.

• Conduct regular security post inspections.

• Prepare security incident reports and maintain security logs.

• Respond to guests and employees concerns and complaints and solve their problems with professionalism and compassion.

• Ensure security officers adhere to uniform dress and grooming standards consistent with department and company standards.

• Interact and cooperate with regulatory, fire/rescue and law enforcement agencies.

• Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.

• Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

• This position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service and promoting a positive attitude to create a fun and entertaining experience for our guests and team members.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required, or three years of casino Security, military, or police experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Must be proficient in Microsoft applications.

• Must have excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to write reports and business correspondence.

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

• Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.

• Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends and overtime as business needs dictate.
